Frankenmuth Auto/Oldies Fest 2008
Frankenmuth, Mi

(Sept 5th - 7th)

Amphicars will be the featured vehicle this year. You do not need to register on the web site, John Lambert will provide the names of our club members bringing a car, and you will have a packet waiting for you at the registration desk on Friday, September 5, 2008.

Our cars and trailers will be allowed to park on the show grounds (in the park on the river) at Frankenmuth, and we will all be staged in one area.

Chuck Reiner and I just got back from a trial run on the Cass River in Frankenmuth.  The ramp north of town was nice with a gentle sloop.  We went about three miles to the North and East, and the river was great.

Friday will start the registration at the Chrysler dealer just South of Frankenmuth

See link below for the activity schedule:

"The Amphicar Lovers Digest / Forum"

A great place to speak with other Amphicar lovers...

NOTE: This has replaced the Amphicar lovers digest

Check out our Frappr!

We are always looking for any Amphicar related documents,
original photos, films, stories or anything related to Amphicars.

Saving and sharing this material is an important part our weird little car's history and life. Watch this site for more of what I have from my own personal collection like the invoice below or the truly rare porcelain badge to the left.

If you are ordering AMSOIL® products. PLEASE see http://www.amphicar.net/amsoil/ first!
Using the link above helps pay for another corner of the Amphibious world we know as Amphicar.net.
Our beloved Bilgemiester provides us with this
FREE place to dock your Amphicar.
Why haven't you set up shop too? Bilgy () can help you get started.

PLEASE!!  along with color and current owner's name and/or location. Also send a photo of the car if you have one too. Even if it has been scrapped or parted out, I want this information for the Amphicar Registry. So far I have list of well over 400 VINs, (<10% of total production) less than half of those have photos!

We can do better with the help of our members who really care about the club members and the unique history of our Amphicars.

If your Amphicar was sold by "Aqua Motors" in Ohio, I may have your original invoice! You will only know if you send in the VIN number!
